The Proteas are in a commanding position in the series down under, which they lead 2-1 against the Aussies. On the eve of the fourth one day at the Adelaide Oval, they look quite set for a win to clinch the series.
The road ahead for the home side Australia looks quite slim as they need to win both the games from here on to register a series win.
All the three previous games have seen some close encounters as both the sides are equally balanced.
The hosts suffered a big blow before the start with Nathan Bracken, their No.1 bowler being ruled out due to injury, he will be replaced by Ryan Harris. This makes it a bit more difficult for them as only the openers are in good form from their side.
A combined effort from the entire unit is what they will be vouching for in this game. Even the visitors suffered a crucial blow, as their wicketkeeper Mark Boucher was also ruled out for the rest of the series with a broken toe.
It all happened in the previous game when a yorker by Shaun Tait hit straight to his toe, hence in his absence AB DeVilliers will be behind the stumps. Both the sides go in for a win here but the home side will be a bit more desperate as they are one down in the series and will hence look to level the series. Another close and thrilling contest awaits us.
